SKYWORTH GROUP (00751.HK): Expected Unaudited Profit After Tax for First Half to Rise by No Less Than 170% Year-on-Year

NewTimeSpace News: On 4 August 2026, SKYWORTH GROUP (00751.HK) issued a positive profit alert. Based on preliminary review of the Group’s unaudited consolidated management accounts, the profit after tax for the current period is expected to grow by no less than 170% year-on-year.

According to the announcement, the profit growth is mainly attributable to two factors. First, driven by a sharp rise in market valuations across the semiconductor sector for certain listed and unlisted equity securities held by the Group, the non-cash unrealised gains on financial assets measured at fair value through profit or loss increased by approximately HK$530 million compared with the same period last year. Second, sales volume, revenue scale and gross profit margin of smart terminals within the smart system technology business segment improved against the prior-year period.
