BYD (01211.HK): NEV Sales Reach 419,211 Units in July 2026; Exports Hit 180,538 Units

According to the announcement, in July 2026, new energy vehicle production reached 420,249 units (compared with 317,892 units in the same period last year), with cumulative production for the year reaching 2,234,379 units (compared with 2,454,925 units last year), representing a year-on-year decrease of 8.98%. NEV sales reached 419,211 units (compared with 344,296 units last year), with cumulative sales for the year reaching 2,227,722 units (compared with 2,490,250 units last year), representing a year-on-year decrease of 10.54%.
By segment, NEV passenger vehicle production in July was 411,791 units and sales were 411,072 units; cumulative production was 2,196,092 units and cumulative sales were 2,188,447 units, down 10.83% year-on-year. Pure electric passenger vehicle production was 233,785 units and sales were 233,105 units; plug-in hybrid passenger vehicle production was 178,006 units and sales were 177,967 units. NEV commercial vehicle production was 8,458 units and sales were 8,139 units; cumulative production was 38,287 units and cumulative sales were 39,275 units, up 9.25% year-on-year.
The announcement disclosed that total NEV exports in July 2026 amounted to 180,538 units. The announcement noted that the above production and sales figures are unaudited and have not been confirmed by the company's auditor, and may be subject to adjustment and final confirmation.
