Shandong Gold (01787.HK): Nomination of Gao Yongtao as Candidate for Independent Non-executive Director

NewTimeSpace News: Shandong Gold announced on 30 July that the Board of Directors nominated Mr. Gao Yongtao as the candidate for Independent Non-executive Director of the 7th Board of Directors. His term of office shall commence upon approval by the shareholders’ general meeting and expire at the end of the term of the 7th Board of Directors.

NewTimeSpace News: On 30 July 2026, Shandong Gold (01787.HK) issued an announcement stating that the Board of Directors nominated Mr. Gao Yongtao as the candidate for Independent Non-executive Director of the 7th Board of Directors.

As disclosed in the announcement, Mr. Gao Yongtao currently serves as Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at University of Science and Technology Beijing, Chairman of Beijing Anke Xingye Technology Co., Ltd., and Independent Director of China National Gold Group Gold Jewellery Co., Ltd. He previously acted as Special Advisor to the Company’s 6th Board of Directors from December 2020 to August 2025. The Board and Nomination Committee have rigorously assessed his independence. Mr. Gao confirms compliance with the independence guidelines under Rule 3.13 of the Listing Rules, and his appointment as Special Advisor has been terminated.
