NewTimeSpace News: On 30 July 2026, Black Sesame International Holding (02533.HK) released a profit forecast, expecting interim revenue of no less than RMB 458 million, growing by a minimum of 81.1% year-on-year.

As stated in the announcement, revenue growth is mainly driven by the sharp surge in revenue from the robotic business, with the Group established as a long-term partner of China’s leading robot manufacturers. High-level advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) solutions have achieved sustained large-scale mass production and delivery in the passenger vehicle market. The installation rate of L2-L3 ADAS has risen markedly in commercial and special-purpose vehicles, and the Group has basically secured coverage of major commercial vehicle manufacturers.

Net loss is estimated at RMB 720 million to RMB 820 million, broadly unchanged from around RMB 762 million recorded in the same period last year. This is primarily attributable to increased investment in computing power and artificial intelligence, as well as expanded R&D spending on large model algorithms and automotive-grade chips.
