NewTimeSpace News: CSPC Pharmaceutical Group Limited (stock code: 1093) issued a voluntary announcement on July 24 that its self-developed second-generation antipsychotic long-acting injectable, Paliperidone Palmitate Injection, has been approved for marketing.

According to the announcement, the product (specifications include: (1) 0.75ml:75mg; (2) 1.0ml:100mg; (3) 1.5ml:150mg (calculated as C23H27FN4O3)) has received approval for marketing from the National Medical Products Administration of the People's Republic of China, and is indicated for the treatment of acute and maintenance phases of schizophrenia.

The announcement stated that compared to traditional antipsychotic drugs, this product requires dosing only once per month, with rapid onset of action after administration, without the need for oral drug supplementation, and can be used for the treatment of patients in the acute phase. At the same time, monthly dosing significantly improves patient medication compliance, prevents missed doses, and effectively reduces disease relapse rates and rehospitalization rates.

The announcement disclosed that this product is listed as a recommended drug in authoritative domestic and international treatment guidelines including the "Chinese Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Schizophrenia (2025 Edition)", and is a preferred treatment drug for schizophrenia patients with poor compliance and high relapse risk, with high clinical and pharmacoeconomic value. The approval of this product will further enrich the Group's product portfolio in the psychiatric and neurological field.
