AM GROUP (01849.HK): Receives HKEX Delisting Decision and Has Lodged Review Application

NewTimeSpace News: AM GROUP (01849.HK) announced it received a HKEX letter dated 10 July 2026, under which the Listing Committee resolved to cancel the Company’s listing pursuant to Listing Rule 6.01A(1), as the Company failed to satisfy all resumption guides and resume trading by 23 March 2026. Disagreeing with the ruling, the Company has applied to transfer the matter to the Listing Review Committee for review.

NewTimeSpace News: On 20 July 2026, AM GROUP (01849.HK) issued an announcement. The Company received correspondence from HKEX on 10 July 2026, informing that the Listing Committee resolved to cancel the listing of the Company’s shares under Listing Rule 6.01A(1). The grounds were the Company’s failure to comply with all resumption guides and restore share trading on or before 23 March 2026.

HKEX held the forensic investigation was inadequate and failed to satisfactorily address concerns over management integrity; it remained unclear whether deficiencies in internal controls and governance weaknesses had been properly identified.

The Company objects to the decision, citing factual inconsistencies in the forensic investigation findings and procedural unfairness in the ruling. It submitted a review application to the Listing Review Committee on 20 July 2026. Should the review application be unsuccessful, the last trading day of the Company’s shares will be 24 July 2026, and the listing status will be cancelled with effect from 27 July 2026. The Company’s shares have been suspended from trading since 24 September 2024 and will remain suspended until further notice.
