Acme International Holdings(01870.HK): Officially Included in Guangdong Virtual Power Plant Operator Directory

NewTimeSpace News: On 17 July 2026,Acme International Holdings(01870.HK) issued an announcement that Guangdong Gangneng Power Co., Limited, the Group’s wholly-owned subsidiary, was formally listed in the 10th batch of Guangdong Virtual Power Plant Operator Directory on 15 July 2026, obtaining official qualification to operate virtual power plants in Guangdong Province.

The announcement states that following this approval, Guangdong Gangneng has upgraded from an electricity sales company to an integrated energy service provider capable of resource aggregation and power trading dispatching. It can aggregate various distributed new energy sources and adjustable load resources to participate in Guangdong’s electric energy trading, demand response and auxiliary service markets.
