NewTimeSpace News: On 15 July 2026,China Medical System Holdings(00867.HK) released an announcement that CMS-D017 capsules, the Group’s self-developed innovative complement factor B inhibitor, have received a clinical trial approval letter from the NMPA. The approval authorizes clinical trials to evaluate the safety and efficacy of CMS-D017 for the treatment of age-related macular degeneration (AMD).

The Company stated that if granted marketing approval, CMS-D017 will generate synergies with its existing ophthalmic product portfolio and deliver multi-tiered, precise and comprehensive treatment solutions.
