NewTimeSpace News: On 14 July 2026, BLACK SESAME(02533.HK) issued an announcement stating that all preconditions under the equity transfer and capital increase agreement have been satisfied and the acquisition has been completed. Through an SPV, the Company indirectly holds a 60% stake in the target company, which becomes a non-wholly-owned subsidiary, and its financial results will be consolidated into the Group’s accounts.

The target group boasts solid expertise in low-power and cost-effective AI SoCs. The deal will fill gaps in the Group’s medium-to-low computing power portfolio and deliver full-spectrum edge inference solutions ranging from 0.5 TOPS to 1,000 TOPS and beyond. The product ecosystem covers all levels of autonomous driving from ADAS to Robotaxi, robot brains, AI Boxes, as well as emerging segments including smart gimbals, action cameras, AI glasses, robotic vacuum cleaners and lawn mowers.

The Company disclosed that the target group achieved substantial year-on-year revenue growth in the first half of 2026, with edge AI SoC shipments ranking among the industry leaders and profitability further enhanced. The acquisition is expected to help the Group improve financial performance and achieve turnaround to profitability.
