MODERN LAND (01107.HK): Receives HKEX Resumption Guidance, Required to Publish Outstanding Results & Demonstrate Effective Internal Controls; Shares Remain Suspended
NewTimeSpace News: Modern Land (01107.HK) announced on 13 July that it has received resumption guidance issued by HKEX dated 8 July 2026. Conditions include publishing all outstanding financial results and addressing audit adjustments, demonstrating compliance with Listing Rule 13.24, appointing an independent internal control consultant to verify rectified control deficiencies and adequate internal controls, and disclosing all material information to the market. Shares have been suspended since 1 April 2026. The delisting deadline under Listing Rule 6.01A(1) falls on 30 September 2027. The Company is taking appropriate steps to satisfy the resumption conditions. Trading suspension will continue until further notice.
NewTimeSpace News: On 13 July 2026, Modern Land (China) Co., Limited (01107.HK) issued an announcement stating that the Company has received a resumption guidance letter dated 8 July 2026 from The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. The conditions for resumption of share trading are set out as follows: publish all outstanding financial results and resolve audit adjustments; demonstrate compliance with Listing Rule 13.24; engage an independent internal control consultant to conduct a review and confirm internal control weaknesses have been rectified and internal controls are sufficient and effective; and announce all material information to the market.
The Company’s shares have been suspended from trading since 1 April 2026 pending publication of the 2025 annual results. Pursuant to Listing Rule 6.01A(1), HKEX may delist any securities suspended for a continuous period of 18 months. For Modern Land, such deadline expires on 30 September 2027.
The Company stated that it is taking appropriate measures to fulfil the resumption guidance and will resume trading as soon as practicable to avoid delisting. The Group will continue to issue quarterly updates every three months.
