SSY GROUP (02005.HK): Propylthiouracil Tablets and Calcium Gluconate and Sodium Chloride Injection Obtain Drug Registration Approvals, Deemed to Have Passed Consistency Evaluation

NewTimeSpace News: SSY GROUP (02005.HK) announced on 10 July that Propylthiouracil Tablets (50mg) and Calcium Gluconate and Sodium Chloride Injection have secured drug registration approvals issued by NMPA, both deemed to have passed consistency evaluation. Propylthiouracil Tablets are the third domestically approved product of this kind, indicated for hyperthyroidism. The injection is used for acute hypocalcaemia, magnesium poisoning and fluoride poisoning.
NewTimeSpace News: On 10 July 2026, SSY GROUP (02005.HK) released a voluntary announcement. The Group has obtained the drug production registration approval for Propylthiouracil Tablets (50mg). Classified as Category 4 chemical drug, the product is deemed to have passed consistency evaluation, making the Group the third domestic enterprise to receive approval. The medicine is mainly used for various types of hyperthyroidism in patients intolerant to methimazole.
Meanwhile, the Group obtained registration approval for Calcium Gluconate and Sodium Chloride Injection (50ml:1g/0.3375g). As a Category 3 chemical drug, it is also deemed to have passed consistency evaluation. It is indicated for the treatment of acute hypocalcaemia, magnesium poisoning and fluoride poisoning. Together with other approved specifications under the Group, it enriches the calcium preparation portfolio.
