SDHS NEW ENERGY (01250.HK): Fitch Sustainable Maintains ESG Entity Rating at Tier 2 with Score Upgraded to 80

On 9 July 2026, Fitch Sustainable affirmed the Group’s ESG entity rating at Tier 2 (the rating scale ranges from Tier 1 to Tier 5, with Tier 1 being the best) and an entity score of 80, rising by 2 points compared with 2025.

The Group has delivered steady progress in advancing ESG management enhancements. The ESG Report and Climate Action Whitepaper issued this year contain in-depth climate scenario analysis, disclosure of Scope 3 emissions data and the formulation of an internal carbon pricing mechanism. Climate risks have also been integrated into the enterprise-wide risk management system. The Group received favourable assessments across environmental, social and governance metrics.

Fitch Sustainable commented that the Group’s core photovoltaic and wind power businesses make substantial contributions to climate change mitigation, while its district heating operations deliver higher energy efficiency than standalone heating systems. The Group’s strategy is highly aligned with China’s medium-term energy transition roadmap. On environmental aspects, Scope 3 emissions data were disclosed for the first time. On social aspects, the Group actively engages in public welfare initiatives. On governance aspects, it continuously strengthens its risk management framework.
