NEW CENTURY GP(00234.HK): Indirect Non-wholly-owned Subsidiary Grants HK$8.7 Million Mortgage Loan to Wong Kwok Keung and Jiayuan Holdings at 12% Per Annum

(00234.HK) announced on 9 July that its subsidiary Easy Cash Finance granted a HK$8.7 million mortgage loan to Wong Kwok Keung and Jiayuan Holdings for a term of 12 months with annual interest rate of 12%, secured by properties valued at HK$13.8 million. The borrowers are independent third parties. The transaction constitutes a discloseable transaction. The Group expects steady interest income and cash inflows from the loan.
NewTimeSpace News: On 9 July 2026, New Century Group Hong Kong Ltd. (00234.HK) issued an announcement. Easy Cash Finance, its indirect non-wholly-owned subsidiary, entered into a loan agreement on 9 July 2026 with Mr Wong Kwok Keung (Borrower A) and Jiayuan Holdings Limited (Borrower B), agreeing to grant a mortgage loan with principal amount of HK$8,700,000 for a tenure of 12 months at an annual interest rate of 12%.
Borrowers shall settle interest on a monthly basis, while principal shall be repaid in full upon maturity. The loan is secured by first legal charges over one residential property and one industrial property located in Kwun Tong. Valuation conducted by independent professional property valuer on 25 June 2026 put the aggregate value of the two properties at HK$13,800,000.
Mr Wong Kwok Keung is an individual; Jiayuan Holdings Limited is a Hong Kong incorporated company principally engaged in property investment, with Mr Wong as its sole director and sole shareholder. The Group confirmed the borrowers are independent third parties. The loan will be funded by the Group’s general working capital. As one applicable percentage ratio exceeds 5% but is below 25%, the transaction constitutes a discloseable transaction. The Company expects interest income generated from the facility to bring stable earnings and cash flow to the Group.
