B.DUCK SEMK(02250.HK): Partners with Yungang to Develop AI Companion Hardware Product Lines; Joint Maximum Investment Capped at Approximately RMB10 Million
NewTimeSpace News: B.Duck Semk Holdings International Limited (02250.HK) announced on 9 July that it has entered cooperation with Yungang on three B.Duck-branded AI companion hardware lines, with total joint investment capped at roughly RMB10 million (the Company to bear 30%). Profits will be split 70:30, and the Group will waive IP licensing fees at the initial stage. The parties will also jointly build an AIGC content co-creation platform with revenue shared on the same ratio.
NewTimeSpace News: On 9 July 2026, B.Duck Semk Holdings International Limited (02250.HK) released a voluntary announcement, disclosing that the Company entered into a cooperation agreement with Yungang Companion New Human (Langfang) Technology Co., Ltd. on 11 June 2026. Both parties will jointly develop, manufacture and commercialise three AI companion hardware product lines featuring the “B.Duck” family brand, namely AI companion ornaments/desktop pets, AI companion pendants and AI companion trendy toys.
Pursuant to the agreement, development and production costs will be shared between Yungang and the Company in a 70:30 ratio, with the maximum total investment for the first batch of products capped at approximately RMB10 million (the Company’s share amounts to around RMB3 million). Net profits derived from sales revenue after deducting relevant costs will also be distributed at 70:30, and the Company will not charge IP licensing fees during the initial phase.
In addition, the two sides will establish an AIGC content co-creation platform, with operating income shared on a 70:30 basis. Yungang is an independent third party principally engaged in the R&D and sales of embodied robots and AI companion robots. The Group stated that this cooperation will expand its footprint in AI-powered consumer products and deepen user engagement with its IP.
