Zhejiang Expressway (00576.HK): Resignation of Independent Non-executive Directors

NewTimeSpace News: On July 2, 2026, Zhejiang Expressway (00576.HK) announced that independent non-executive directors Mr. Bei Kewei and Ms. Li Weizheng had each submitted resignation letters. The resignation arises from their consecutive directorship tenure exceeding six years, which contravenes Article 3.5.6 of the Self-Regulatory Supervision Guideline No.1 for Listed Companies of the Shanghai Stock Exchange–Standardized Operation. Upon the effectiveness of their resignations, Mr. Bei Kewei will cease to serve as Chairman of the Audit Committee, member of the Nomination Committee and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee; Ms. Li Weizheng will step down from her posts as member of the Audit Committee, Nomination Committee and Remuneration Committee.

Both individuals confirmed that there are no disagreements with the Board of Directors, and no other matters requiring shareholders’attention. Their resignations shall take effect upon shareholders’approval for the appointment of replacement independent non-executive directors at a general meeting.
