SSY Group Limited(02005.HK): Methocarbamol Tablets Approved for Marketing; Phloroglucinol API Granted Registration
NewTimeSpace News: On July 2, 2026, SSY Group Limited(02005.HK) released a voluntary announcement, stating that the Group is the first domestic enterprise to secure NMPA manufacturing registration approval for Methocarbamol Tablets (0.5g). Classified as Category 3 chemical drug, this product is deemed to have passed the consistency evaluation. As a muscle relaxant, Methocarbamol Tablets are mainly indicated for conditions such as joint and muscle sprains, lumbar muscle strain, and sciatica.
On the same day, phloroglucinol developed by the Group was approved by the NMPA for registration as an API applicable to marketed finished pharmaceutical products. Phloroglucinol is primarily used for acute spasmodic pain caused by digestive and biliary dysfunctions, acute spasmodic ureteral, bladder and renal colic, as well as spasmodic pain in gynecology.
