CIMC Group (02039.HK): CPIC Prudential Life’s Shareholding Falls Below 5%

NewTimeSpace News: CIMC Group announced on July 1 that CPIC Prudential Life, previously a shareholder holding more than 5% of the Company’s shares, reduced its holdings by disposing of 23,017,066 A-shares via centralized bidding trading between June 24 and June 29, 2026. Following the disposal, its shareholding ratio dropped from 5.43% to approximately 4.9999987%, ceasing to be a shareholder with a stake exceeding 5%.

NewTimeSpace News: On July 1, 2026, CIMC Group (02039.HK) issued an announcement stating that the Company has received a simplified equity change report issued by CPIC Prudential Life, its former major shareholder with over 5% shareholding. Between June 24 and June 29, 2026, CPIC Prudential Life collectively offloaded 23,017,066 A-shares of the Company through centralized bidding transactions on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, accounting for 0.43% of the Company’s total issued share capital.

According to the announcement, subsequent to this equity change, CPIC Prudential Life holds 269,625,951 shares of the Company, equivalent to roughly 4.9999987% of the total share capital, and is no longer a shareholder holding 5% or more of the Company’s equity. This share reduction does not trigger a mandatory takeover offer and will not result in any change to the Company’s controlling shareholder or ultimate beneficial owner.
