METiS TechBio-P (07666.HK): Enters Global Licensing Collaboration with Deerfield for Trispecific TCE MTS-128 with Total Potential Value Up to US$1.6 Billion
NewTimeSpace News: METiS TechBio Co., Ltd. (07666.HK) released a voluntary exchange announcement on 30 June 2026 disclosing its landmark TCE licensing collaboration with Deerfield Management.
Per the filing, the Company executed a global exclusive licensing deal with Boulevard Bio Inc., a U.S. biotech firm backed by Deerfield Management. The agreement confers full global development, manufacturing and commercialization rights for MTS-128, an in-house trispecific TCE asset. Financial terms include an upfront payment of US$20 million, potential milestone payments totalling as high as US$1.6 billion covering clinical advancement, regulatory approval and commercial launch, together with tiered sales royalties over the product lifecycle.
MTS-128 is a next-generation trispecific TCE fully designed and optimized via METiS’s proprietary AI-driven NanoForge nano-delivery platform. Unlike conventional bispecific TCEs, trispecific TCEs can simultaneously modulate multiple biological pathways, which is expected to boost cytotoxic killing of target tumour cells, widen the therapeutic window, enhance therapeutic selectivity and improve overall safety profiles. The asset’s successful preclinical development validates the integration of artificial intelligence and protein engineering within the NanoForge system, marking a milestone for Chinese preclinical TCE out-licensing to global pharmaceutical partners.
