Zhongguancun Science-Tech Leasing (01601.HK): Invests RMB 92 Million to Purchase 40 Autonomous Mining Trucks for Operating Leasing Business

NewTimeSpace News: On June 29, 2026, Zhongguancun Science-Tech Leasing (01601.HK) issued an announcement stating that the Company has signed Equipment Purchase Contract II with the seller to purchase 40 battery-swappable autonomous wide-body mining trucks at an aggregate consideration of RMB 92 million (inclusive of value-added tax), equivalent to RMB 2.3 million per unit. The acquisition will be funded by the Company’s internal resources and bank borrowings.

Zhongguancun Science-Tech Leasing stated that the Company will lease such equipment to other lessees under an operating leasing model at fixed rental payments. This purchase is conducive to lifting the Company’s market share in the operating leasing market for autonomous driving solutions in the mining sector.
