NewTimeSpace News: On June 30, 2026, Shanghai Bao Pharmaceuticals(02659.HK) issued a voluntary announcement stating that the clinical trial application for its self-developed Injection BJ044 (recombinant ulinastatin) was approved by the NMPA on June 29, 2026, granting clearance to carry out clinical trials.

As stated in the announcement, ulinastatin is a glycoprotein with potent inhibitory activity. It is widely applied in the treatment of acute pancreatitis, acute exacerbation of chronic recurrent pancreatitis, acute circulatory failure, as well as critical and life-threatening conditions including sepsis, severe pneumonia, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), severe intoxication and severe burns.
