Fosun International (00656.HK): Fosun Altem Submits Listing Application to HKEX Main Board

Newtimespace (newtimespace.com) reported: On June 26, 2026, Fosun International Limited (00656.HK) announced that the Company and its subsidiary, Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical (Group) Co., Ltd., have made a joint application to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange under Practice Note 15 of the Listing Rules for approval to spin off and list Fosun Altem (Chengdu) Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. on the Main Board of the HKEX. The HKEX has confirmed that the Company and Fosun Pharmaceutical may proceed with the proposed spin-off.

The Company was informed that on June 26, 2026, Fosun Altem submitted its listing application through its joint sponsors to the HKEX for the listing of and permission to deal in its H shares on the Main Board. The application version of Fosun Altem's prospectus is available for viewing and downloading on the HKEX website.

As disclosed in Fosun Pharmaceutical's circular dated February 4, 2026, the initial offering size of Fosun Altem's IPO on the HKEX Main Board shall not exceed 25% of the enlarged total issued share capital immediately following the offering, with an over-allotment option of up to 15% of the initial offering size granted to the global coordinators/bookrunners. Fosun Altem is expected to remain a subsidiary of Fosun Pharmaceutical and the Company upon completion of the proposed spin-off.

As the highest applicable percentage ratio is less than 5%, the proposed spin-off is not expected to constitute a notifiable transaction under the HKEX Listing Rules. The proposed spin-off is subject to, among other things, filing or approval by the CSRC, the HKEX, and other relevant regulatory authorities.
