CSTONE PHARMA-B(02616.HK): Enters Exclusive Commercialization Partnership with Arrotex for Sugemalimab in Australia and New Zealand
NewTimeSpace News: CStone Pharmaceuticals (02616.HK) announced an exclusive commercialization cooperation agreement with Arrotex Pharmaceuticals, the core commercial platform under Australia’s diversified pharmaceutical and healthcare group DBG Health, for Sugemalimab in Australia and New Zealand. CStone will receive an upfront payment, subsequent registration and sales milestone payments, plus a share of revenues generated within the licensed territories. The commercial footprint of Sugemalimab now covers more than 60 countries and regions globally.
NewTimeSpace News: CStone Pharmaceuticals (02616.HK) released a voluntary announcement on 25 June 2026, disclosing the exclusive commercialization partnership with Arrotex covering Sugemalimab for Australia and New Zealand.
Under the terms of the agreement, CStone Pharmaceuticals will receive an upfront payment from Arrotex, together with additional registration and sales milestone payments payable at later stages. CStone will supply Sugemalimab to Arrotex and earn a revenue share from sales within the licensed territories.
Arrotex Pharmaceuticals is granted exclusive commercialization rights for Sugemalimab across all currently approved and potential future indications in Australia and New Zealand, and will be responsible for regulatory registration filings and full commercial promotion activities.
Sugemalimab (brand name: Cejemly®) is a fully human full-length anti-PD-L1 monoclonal antibody. It has secured approvals for multiple indications across the EU, the UK and Chinese Mainland, including Stage III and Stage IV non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), gastric cancer, esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and extranodal NK/T-cell lymphoma.
This deal marks the further expansion of Sugemalimab’s commercial reach into Oceania. To date, CStone has inked five regional commercial partnerships, building a business network spanning Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Latin America, Oceania and over 60 countries and regions worldwide.
