AsiaPhos Plans to Acquire Pier Data Centre in Perth, Australia, Foraying into Digital Infrastructure Sector

NewTimeSpace News: AsiaPhos announced on June 8 that it intends to acquire a 51% stake in Pier Data Centre located in Perth for approximately SGD 7 million.

NewTimeSpace News: On June 8, 2026, AsiaPhos unveiled its plan to purchase a 51% equity interest in Pier Data Centre at a consideration of around SGD 7 million.

Situated near Perth's Central Business District, the data centre has obtained Tier III certification. It currently operates with a power capacity of 2MW, which can be expanded to 8MW. The company plans to scale up the capacity to 8MW in phases, expecting revenue to multiply after the expansion.

Previously, AsiaPhos signed a letter of intent for strategic cooperation with China Mobile International. The two parties aim to explore synergies in data centre and AI computing power services across Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.
