NewTimeSpace News: China New Holdings Limited (08125.HK) announced via corporate announcement that it entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with Chanli (Shanghai) Wine Co., Ltd. on June 2, 2026. Both parties will focus on the development, sales and marketing of Chanli Baijiu, a premium light-luxury Baijiu tailored for independent Chinese women, alongside other domestic Chinese Baijiu and wines. A mainland China-based subsidiary controlled by the Group will be set up for product development and distribution.
NewTimeSpace News: China New Holdings Limited (08125.HK) issued a voluntary announcement dated June 2, 2026, disclosing a newly-established strategic partnership with Chanli Wine. The cooperation centres on developing, selling and marketing Chanli Baijiu – a light-luxury Baijiu targeting independent female consumers in China – as well as assorted Chinese Baijiu and grape wines.
Leveraging its strengths in brand building, channel development and market expansion for alcoholic beverage procurement and distribution, the Group will act as exclusive agent and core marketing partner. Chanli Wine will contribute its expertise in product R&D, brewing techniques and Baijiu production and processing.
The two sides plan to incorporate a mainland China subsidiary under the Group’s controlling ownership, tasked with developing and distributing high-growth Chanli Baijiu portfolio plus sourcing and promoting other Chinese Baijiu and grape wine products.
The Board views the strategic cooperation as aligned with the Group’s core strategy of scaling up its alcoholic beverage procurement and distribution business. Resource complementarity is expected to generate synergies, sharpen market competitiveness and diversify revenue streams. The executed agreement is non-binding in nature as a letter of intent; definitive rights and obligations will be specified in subsequent formal supplementary contracts.
