NewTimeSpace News: Ocumension Therapeutics (01477.HK) released a voluntary announcement on May 28, 2026, stating that the first patient has been enrolled in the Phase III clinical trial of OT-802 (Pilocarpine Hydrochloride Eye Drops).
OT-802 is an innovative product independently developed by the company for the treatment of presbyopia. Preclinical studies demonstrate that it delivers rapid efficacy and boasts a high safety level. The product applies the proprietary dual-chamber liquid formulation technology used for OT-101 (0.01% Atropine Sulfate Eye Drops), which effectively addresses product stability issues. The Group holds the exclusive patent for this technology. The application for the Phase III clinical trial of OT-802 was accepted by the Center for Drug Evaluation of the National Medical Products Administration in June 2025.
The successful enrollment of the first patient marks a major milestone in the clinical development of OT-802 in China, and reflects the Group’s commitment to advancing therapies for presbyopia.
