QBE Insurance: Announces Early Redemption of 5.875% Subordinated Notes, Amounting to Approximately US$524 Million
NewTimeSpace News: On May 11, 2026, QBE Insurance announced that, pursuant to Condition 10.3 of the terms and conditions of the subordinated notes, the company will redeem all of its outstanding 5.875% fixed rate subordinated notes on June 17, 2026, with an aggregate principal amount of approximately US$524 million.
The redemption will be paid in cash, in an amount equal to the face value plus accrued interest to (but excluding) the Early Redemption Date. QBE Insurance has obtained approval from the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority for the redemption. Upon completion of the redemption, the subordinated notes will be cancelled and delisted from the Official List of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited.
