Tata Steel Acquires 26% Stake in TP Adarsh for ₹59 Million, Which Becomes an Indirect Associate Company

Upon completion of the transaction, TPAL has become an indirect associate company of Tata Steel.

NewTimeSpace News: On April 22, 2026, Tata Steel Limited announced that it had signed a Share Subscription and Shareholders' Agreement with TPREL and TPAL on that day and completed the acquisition of a 26% equity stake in TP Adarsh Limited through the subscription of 5.9 million equity shares with a face value of ₹10 each, for a total consideration of ₹59 million.

The announcement stated that upon completion of this transaction, TPAL has become an indirect associate company of Tata Steel.
