NewTimeSpace News:On March 16, 2026, OUE Healthcare, a Singapore-based regional healthcare group, issued an announcement stating that its subsidiary O2 Healthcare Group has officially launched O2 SleepWell Laboratory—the first private sleep laboratory in Singapore, which is operated by O2SW, a subsidiary of O2 Healthcare Group through a tiered subsidiary structure.

Pursuant to the announcement, the sleep laboratory was officially inaugurated on March 13, World Sleep Day. It offers a full spectrum of sleep medicine services covering the entire continuum of diagnosis and treatment. Leveraging equipment approved by Singapore's Health Sciences Authority, the laboratory addresses a wide range of sleep disorders such as sleep apnea, while also providing screening, treatment initiation and long-term management services.

In terms of collaborations, O2SW, the operator of the laboratory, has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with HSBC Life. The two parties will establish a cooperation framework to provide sleep diagnosis, treatment and other related services for HSBC Life's customers. Meanwhile, O2SW has also partnered with Cura Day Surgery Centre and Parkway East Hospital to conduct overnight sleep studies at multiple locations. A dedicated private sleep laboratory, a joint initiative with Parkway East Hospital, is scheduled to launch in mid-2026, focusing on addressing complex sleep disorders.

OUE Healthcare stated that the launch of the laboratory and the related collaborations are not expected to have any material impact on OUEH's earnings per share and net tangible assets per share for the fiscal year 2026. Nevertheless, this initiative marks a key strategic move for the group to expand its holistic healthcare services and align with Singapore's preventive healthcare agenda.
