NewTimeSpace News:On March 13, 2026, Singapore-based MetaOptics Ltd announced the successful delivery of its Automatic Metalens Tester to Pin-Jye Nano Technologies, its partner in Taoyuan, Taiwan. Deployed near Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, the tester facilitates services for regional and international customers, demonstrating MetaOptics' commitment to empowering the development of the regional semiconductor ecosystem.

According to the announcement, the tester was jointly developed by MetaOptics Ltd and a listed company specializing in high-precision automation. It can form a synergy with the Direct Laser Writer (DLW) deployed at Pin-Jye Nano Technologies in September 2025. With the addition of this tester, Pin-Jye Nano Technologies is able to achieve 100% sorting and characterization of functional metalenses, marking a significant boost to its core competitiveness. Metalens design remains spearheaded by MetaOptics Ltd's Singapore Excellence Center.

Thng Chong Kim, Executive Chairman of MetaOptics Ltd, stated that the core objective of deploying relevant equipment in Taiwan is to build a sound manufacturing ecosystem, enhance customer service efficiency, and support supply chain partners in achieving large-scale mass production. In addition, the company is collaborating with a renowned European foundry to promote the overseas rollout of the tester.
