SIA Engineering Wins Bid to Acquire 30% Stake in Arport Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering (Fujian) Co., Ltd.

NewTimeSpace News,March 10: Singapore's SIA Engineering Company announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary SIAEC Global has successfully won the bid for a 30% stake in the enlarged share capital of Arport Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering (Fujian) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Xiamen IPORT Group, via a public tender organized by Xiamen Equity Exchange Centre, with a subscription consideration of RMB 129 million.

NewTimeSpace News:On March 10, 2026, SIA Engineering Company released an announcement to update its investment progress, stating that its wholly-owned subsidiary SIAEC Global has successfully won the bid for a 30% stake in Arport Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering (Fujian) Co., Ltd. (Arport AME), a subsidiary of Xiamen IPORT Group. The bid was secured through a public tender conducted by Xiamen Equity Exchange Centre, with a subscription consideration of RMB 129 million.

According to the announcement, SIA Engineering and Xiamen IPORT Group signed a non-binding Framework Agreement on November 12, 2024, and this successful bid marks the subsequent implementation of the agreement. SIAEC Global intends to sign agreements with the direct shareholders of Arport AME to complete the transaction and form a joint venture. The joint venture will provide line maintenance and ground services at airports in Xiamen, Fuzhou, Wuyishan and Longyan, and offer base maintenance services at Xiamen Airport.

Information shows that SIA Engineering is a major provider of aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services in the Asia-Pacific region. It serves more than 80 international airlines and aerospace equipment manufacturers, with its business covering over 30 airports across 9 countries.
