Continuum Energy Secures $67.5 Million Follow-on Investment from Just Climate to Boost Wind-Solar Hybrid Project Development
NewTimeSpace News:On March 11, 2026, Indian renewable energy group Continuum Energy announced that its existing shareholder Just Climate and one of its limited partners will invest an amount of Indian Rupees equivalent to $67.5 million in the form of preferred equity, which will be used for the deployment of wind-solar hybrid energy and energy storage projects in India.
According to the announcement, this marks Just Climate's second investment in Continuum Energy. Back in September 2024, Just Climate, together with the same limited partner, invested approximately $150 million in the company. Arvind Bansal, Chief Executive Officer of Continuum Energy, said that the continuous support from Just Climate has laid a solid foundation for the company's growth strategy. At present, Continuum Energy has an operational and near-operational portfolio of approximately 3.5 GWp of projects, with an additional 1.7 GWp of projects under development.
Information shows that Continuum Energy was founded in 2009, focusing on providing green energy for commercial and industrial consumers; Just Climate was established by Generation Investment Management, dedicated to offering solutions for high-emission industries.
