OKP Holdings Limited Secures S$87.3 Million Jurong Region Line Commuter Infrastructure Contract from Singapore’s LTA
NewTimeSpace News:On March 9, 2026, OKP Holdings Limited issued an announcement confirming that it has been awarded a commuter infrastructure construction contract valued at around S$87.3 million by the Land Transport Authority of Singapore (LTA).
Pursuant to the announcement, the contract focuses on the construction of facilities adjacent to upcoming JRL stations. The design and construction works will be undertaken by Or Kim Peow Contractors (Private) Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of OKP. The scope includes the construction of covered walkways (both elevated and at-grade), cycling paths, footpaths and associated road works, as well as the reconstruction, modification and repair of affected infrastructure.
It is reported that the contract has a term of 60 months and officially took effect on February 27, 2026. Mr. Woo Tuck Huat, Managing Director of the OKP Group, stated that this contract is a testament to LTA’s recognition of the Group’s engineering expertise. It will enable the Group to participate in the expansion of Singapore’s rail transit network and contribute to the enhancement of the public transport ecosystem in western Singapore.
