NewTimeSpace News: NIO Inc. (09866.HK/NIO.N) issued a voluntary announcement on February 26, 2026, stating that the Company and its subsidiary GeniTech Co., Ltd. (“Shenji”) have entered into definitive agreements with certain Chinese investors (the“GeniTech Investors”). Pursuant to the agreements, the GeniTech Investors will subscribe for newly issued shares of GeniTech with an aggregate cash investment of RMB 2.257 billion. The Investment Transaction is subject to customary closing conditionsNIO.

GeniTech is primarily responsible for NIO’s intelligent‑driving chip‑related business. Upon completion of the Investment Transaction:A subsidiary of NIO will continue to hold a controlling 62.7% equity stake in GeniTechNIO.The GeniTech Investors will collectively hold 27.3% of GeniTech’s equityNIO.Certain entities holding shares to administer GeniTech’s share incentive plan will collectively hold the remaining 10.0% equity interestNIO.
