The Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong (SFC) issued an announcement stating that the shareholding of Affluent Foundation Holdings Limited (01757.HK) is highly concentrated in a small number of shareholders. As of January 12, 2026, the company's largest shareholder and another 25 shareholders held a combined shareholding of 90.63%, with only 9.37% of the shares held by other investors. The SFC warned that highly concentrated shareholding may lead to substantial fluctuations in the share price, and investors are advised to exercise extreme caution when trading the shares.

According to the findings of the SFC's inquiry, as of January 12, 2026, China Venture Capital Holdings Limited, the company's major shareholder, held 75.37% of the shares, and another 25 shareholders held a combined 15.26% of the shares. The two parties in total held 90.63% of the company's issued share capital. This means that only 9.37% of the shares were held by other investors.

The SFC indicated that in the case of highly concentrated shareholding, the company's share price may experience substantial fluctuations even with a small volume of share transactions. Data shows that the company's share price surged from HK$0.425 on October 15, 2025, to HK$5.87 on January 12, 2026, representing a cumulative increase of 1,281.2%. As of January 21, 2026, the share price closed higher at HK$5.99.

The SFC reminded shareholders and potential investors to exercise the utmost caution when dealing in the company's shares.
