Zhongtai International believes that developments across the AI supply chain in the fourth quarter are among the most important catalysts for the internet sector, with marginal changes in AI computing power, large models and AI agents all worth watching; in terms of application adoption, the areas that have spread most widely are coding and office work, and personal agents have recently seen notable user growth overseas, with any new adoption scenario likely to become a strong catalyst for the sector. The broker noted that the Hang Seng TECH Index trades at a PE-TTM of 22.01x, in the 22.9% percentile over the past year, versus a dynamic PE of about 29.39x for the Nasdaq 100, leaving Hong Kong internet valuations in a historically low range.
