NewTimeSpace has learned that the ETF is managed by BlackRock Asset Management North Asia and tracks the S&P BSE SENSEX Index. Compiled by S&P Dow Jones Indices and the BSE, the index covers large-cap Indian companies listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange. As of 13:05 HKT on October 8, the ETF had assets of HKD 4.407 billion, a unit NAV of HKD 33.485, a dividend yield of 1.17% and a board lot of 200 units.

the Reserve Bank of India raised its policy repo rate by 25 basis points to 5.50%, its first hike since February 2023, and changed its stance to "calibrated tightening".

The World Bank said in a report that it raised India's growth forecast for fiscal 2026/27 to 7.1% from 6.6%, citing resilient domestic demand and consumption that has withstood higher energy prices, while flagging elevated oil prices and extreme weather such as El Niño as risks to the outlook.
