NewTimeSpace has learned that the ETF is managed by Fubon Fund Management (Hong Kong) and tracks the Hang Seng Shanghai-Shenzhen-Hong Kong (Selected Corporations) High Dividend Yield Index. As of 11:08 HKT on October 8, it had assets of HKD 889 million, a unit NAV of HKD 16.756, a dividend yield of 6.81% and a board lot of 200 shares.

Economic Information Daily reported that several insurers received a letter clarifying the regulatory treatment of insurance funds investing in Stock Connect ETFs, allowing insurers eligible to invest in southbound stocks to buy such ETFs, effective from September 20. 

HTSC said in a research note that excess returns on dividend assets have narrowed since September with sharper internal divergence, investors are focusing more on earnings delivery, valuation and dividend sustainability.
