CSOP Nikkei 225 2x Short(07515.HK) up 1.42%, TOPIX cut ~40% late Oct

NewTimeSpace News: As of 11:01 HKT on October 8, 2026, the CSOP Nikkei 225 Daily (-2x) Inverse Product (07515.HK) traded at HKD 12.130, up 1.42%, with a turnover of HKD 2.0666 million and a turnover rate of 1.05%.

NewTimeSpace has learned that the product is managed by CSOP Asset Management and is a leveraged and inverse product providing daily 2x inverse exposure to the Nikkei 225. As of 11:01 HKT on October 8, it had assets of HKD 193 million, a unit NAV of HKD 11.891 and a board lot of 10 shares.

Xinhua reported that the Japan Exchange Group said the TOPIX, a major Japanese gauge alongside the Nikkei 225, will start adjusting its constituents from late October, cutting their number by about 40% to 986, with inclusion now based on trading activity and free-float market value rather than listing segment.

Capital Investment Trust said that Japanese real wages kept improving and corporate earnings forecasts were revised up, buybacks have risen for three straight years, and fiscal 2026 earnings growth is estimated at around 19%, with rate hikes lifting bank earnings and AI demand driving the electronics supply chain.
