iShares Taiwan(03074.HK) up 1.38%, Taiwan Aug red signal 9th month

NewTimeSpace News:as of 10:01 HKT on September 30, 2026, iShares Core MSCI Taiwan Index ETF (03074.HK) rose 1.38% to HK$512.600, with turnover of HK$675,800, volume of 1,320 units and a turnover rate of 0.07%.

NewTimeSpace has learned that the ETF is managed by BlackRock Asset Management North Asia Limited and tracks the MSCI Taiwan 20/35 Index, covering large and mid-cap stocks in China's Taiwan region. As of 10:01 HKT on September 30, 2026, the ETF had HK$1.00bn in assets, a net asset value of HK$502.244 per unit, a dividend yield of 1.23% and a board lot of 10 units.

On the news front, CNA reported that the National Development Council said the composite monitoring score for China's Taiwan region stood at 41 in August, a red signal for a ninth straight month that matched the longest run since 2021; the council also said August exports reached US$82.4bn, a record monthly high.

UBS noted in a research report that as chip types multiply and die sizes grow, demand is shifting to ASICs and CPUs, and advanced packaging capacity will still need further expansion before 2028, with supply moving from a highly concentrated base toward broader outsourcing.
