NewTimeSpace News: Hong Kong and US tech shares diverged, weighing on cross-market tech products; as of 11:18 HKT on September 24, 2026, CSOP Hang Seng HK-US TECH ETF (03442.HK) fell 0.94% intraday to HK$7.890, with turnover of HK$466,100, volume of 59,000 units and a turnover rate of 0.07%.
NewTimeSpace has learned that the ETF is managed by CSOP Asset Management Limited and tracks the Hang Seng HK-US TECH Index (net total return version), covering leading tech companies listed in Hong Kong and the US; the Hong Kong sleeve selects Hang Seng TECH Index constituents eligible for Southbound Stock Connect, while the US sleeve comprises eight NASDAQ-listed tech companies on an equal-weighted basis. As of 11:18 HKT on September 24, the ETF had assets of HK$703 million, a net asset value of HK$7.904 per unit and 100 units per board lot.
On the news front, according to Cailian Press, Xiaomi unveiled its 18 Pro series, featuring Qualcomm's new 2nm GAA flagship platform, priced from RMB5,999. According to Jiemian News, Synopsys announced deeper collaboration with TSMC spanning the A14 advanced node, AI agent-assisted design, CoWoS multi-die packaging and co-packaged optics (CPO), with the two set to expand their 2nm IP portfolio and tape out IP including PCIe 7.0 and HBM4.
GUOTAI HAITONG SECURITIES noted in a research report that its global AI prosperity tracking shows rising model and computing power prices, further validating tightness in AI hardware supply.
