NewTimeSpace has learned that the ETF is managed by Hang Seng Investment Management and tracks the Hang Seng Index, covering large and actively traded companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. As of 10:27 HKT on September 24, the ETF had assets of HK$136.186 billion and a net asset value of HK$25.479 per unit, with a 2.92% dividend yield and 500 units per board lot.
On the news front, southbound funds recorded a net purchase of about HK$3.449 billion yesterday — a net inflow of about HK$4.424 billion via Shanghai Connect and a net outflow of about HK$974 million via Shenzhen Connect; net buying has run for 13 consecutive trading days, totalling about HK$52.327 billion, with Tracker Fund of Hong Kong drawing a net purchase of about HK$600 million. The Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong published a strategic action agenda to promote high-quality development of the city's capital market through short, medium and long-term measures.
China Galaxy Securities noted in a research report that Hong Kong corporate earnings should continue a structural recovery in 2026, with overall profit growth improving from 2025, while sector divergence remains the dominant feature and growth is mainly driven by the AI supply chain, upstream resources and selected high-growth segments.
