iShares Nasdaq 100 Index ETF (02834.HK) up 2.23%, AMD tops $1 trillion

NewTimeSpace learned that the ETF, managed by BlackRock Asset Management North Asia, tracks the Nasdaq 100 Index, covering 100 large non-financial companies listed on Nasdaq, and is a passive equity index product. As of 10:24 HKT on September 22, 2026, the ETF has assets under management of HK$1.87 billion, a net asset value of HK$584.416 per unit and a board lot of 10 units.

On the news front, US tech and chip stocks rallied overnight, AMD's market value topped US$1 trillion for the first time, making it the fourth US chip company to reach that level after Nvidia, Broadcom and Micron, while Arm surged 17.16%, Intel gained 12.14% and Qualcomm added 9.29%.

GUOSEN SECURITIES noted that with inference-side demand surging and in-house chip capabilities maturing, ASIC shipments are entering an acceleration phase, forecasting about 7.7 million ASIC chips shipped in 2026 for roughly 45% share, rising above GPU to 58% in 2027.
