Asia broad-based and Korea themes performed strongly. Global X Emerging Markets Asia Active ETF (03104.HK) and its USD counter (09104.HK), managed by Mirae Asset, rose 3.07% and 2.69% respectively; CSOP KOSPI 200 ETF (03121.HK), managed by CSOP, rose 2.88%; Xtrackers MSCI Korea UCITS ETF (02848.HK), managed by DWS Investment S.A., rose 2.10%, showing capital re-entry into the Korean market after its earlier correction. In addition, CSOP Asia Tech ETF (03473.HK), managed by CSOP, rose 2.62%; and the same manager's CSOP FTSE East-West Equity Select ETF (03441.HK) rose 2.44%.

On the downside, the gold mining sector suffered concentrated selling. E Fund (HK) Solactive Global Gold Miner Select Index ETF (02824.HK), managed by E Fund, slumped 4.06%, the largest decliner of the day; its RMB counter (82824.HK) and USD counter (09824.HK) fell 3.81% and 3.62% respectively. The gold mining theme saw significant pullback after a sustained rebound in the earlier period. Robotics and artificial intelligence themes came under pressure. Global X China Robotics and AI ETF (02807.HK), managed by Mirae Asset, fell 2.91%, tracking the FactSet China Robotics and AI Index. A-share and Internet themes weakened. Harvest MSCI China A Index ETF - R (83118.HK), managed by Harvest Global, fell 1.83%, tracking the MSCI China A Index; Samsung CSI China Dragon Internet ETF (02812.HK), managed by Samsung Asset Management, fell 1.57%; ICBC UBS KraneShares KWEB CSI China Internet ETF - U (09102.HK) and its HKD counter (03102.HK), managed by ICBC Credit Suisse, fell 1.31% and 1.28% respectively, both tracking the China Internet Index. In addition, Global X Solactive K-pop and Culture ETF (03158.HK), managed by Mirae Asset, fell 1.54%; and Db X-Trackers FTSE Vietnam UCITS ETF (03087.HK), managed by DWS Investment S.A., fell 1.42%.
