Among them, Tiantong Co. hit the 10% daily limit-up, Cambridge Technology approached the limit-up and hit another new all-time high, Woge Optoelectronics gained nearly 7% to reach a new record high, Hengtong Optoelectronics, Luxshare Precision, Kechuan Technology, and Guangxun Technology surged over 4%, while Yingtang Intelligence Control rose 3%.CSOP YINHUA CSI 5G COMMUNICATIONS THEME ETF(03193.HK) gained nearly 2% in afternoon trading.

According to HKEX data,CSOP YINHUA CSI 5G COMMUNICATIONS THEME ETF(03193.HK), full name CSOP Yinhua CSI 5G Communications Theme ETF, is an exchange-traded fund listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, designed to track the performance of the CSI 5G Communications Theme Index. The index draws from the A-share universe, selecting leading companies across three key segments—5G network infrastructure, terminal equipment, and application scenarios—covering sub-sectors including communications equipment, optical modules/devices, RF antennas, PCBs, cloud computing, and the Internet of Things.

The CSI 5G Communications Theme Index comprises 50 securities selected from Shanghai and Shenzhen listed companies whose businesses are closely tied to 5G infrastructure construction, terminal device manufacturing, or application scenario development, serving as a thematic benchmark reflecting the overall performance of the 5G industry.

On the news front, Zhongji XuChuang released robust Q1 financial data on Thursday, with revenue nearly doubling year-on-year and net profit surging 262%. Overseas, global optical communications device leader Lumentum stated that amid booming data center demand, existing capacity is already in short supply, with 2028 capacity expected to be fully sold out two quarters from now.

Goldman Sachs' report expressed bullishness on the optical communications network sector, noting that as data center architecture evolves from horizontal to vertical scaling, higher bandwidth and greater connectivity demands are significantly expanding the total addressable market.
