|||||
Overall, the market on December 29 showed a typical "contrast between ice and fire" feature. NewTimeSpace observed that capital was highly concentrated in event or policy-driven high-end manufacturing sectors such as aerospace and military industry, as well as traditional resource sectors like oil & gas. The in-depth correction of Hong Kong Stock Connect-themed ETFs formed a sharp contrast with the pullback of some resource products and pharmaceutical sectors.
NewTimeSpace Research Institute stated that such extreme differentiation highlights the intense structural adjustment of market capital at the end of the year, with significant differences in risk appetite across sectors, and short-term market volatility has intensified remarkably.
