NewTimeSpace News: OCUMENSION-B (01477.HK) announced that the Group's fluocinolone acetonide intravitreal implant has been approved by the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) of the People's Republic of China for production in mainland China. The product was filed for registration under the Class 4 chemical drug pathway and was included in the NMPA's priority review and approval procedure for drug marketing authorisations; its manufacturing technology was obtained by the Group through technology transfer, and process transfer and process validation have been completed.

According to the announcement, the Group's core product OT-401 (generic name: fluocinolone acetonide intravitreal implant; brand name "Youshiying") has been commercialised in China and has been included in the National Reimbursement Drug List for its approved indication of treating chronic non-infectious uveitis affecting the posterior segment of the eye, and has met the clinical medication needs of numerous patients since launch. To date, all Youshiying supplied in the China market has been manufactured at the overseas manufacturing site specified in its imported drug registration certificate and imported into China.

The approval achieves localisation of the product, enabling the Group to provide a supplementary source of supply for the China market in addition to its existing overseas manufacturing and imports. The Board believes the arrangement will deliver three benefits: first, enhanced supply resilience, by adding a domestic supply source and reducing reliance on a single manufacturing site and cross-border logistics to safeguard stable long-term supply for patients; second, improved accessibility, by shortening the supply chain and delivery cycle and, together with the Group's nationwide commercialisation network, benefiting patients in more regions; and third, enhanced industrialisation capability, as the Group has mastered the manufacturing process and quality control capabilities for intraocular implants, with potential to replicate them in other ocular implant and sustained-release dosage forms while optimising the product's cost structure.

As at the data cut-off date of 15 June 2026, a total of 139 patients with advanced breast cancer were enrolled, comprising 84 patients with hormone receptor-positive/human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative (HR+/HER2-) breast cancer, 32 with triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) and 23 with HER2-positive breast cancer; the median age was 54 and most patients had received multiple prior lines of therapy. In terms of efficacy, among patients with HR+/HER2- breast cancer (n=82), after a median follow-up of 5.1 months, the confirmed ORR was 53.7% and the disease control rate (DCR) was 92.7%, with both median duration of response (DoR) and median progression-free survival (PFS) not reached; in TNBC (n=32), after a median follow-up of 6.5 months, the ORR was 75.0% and the DCR was 93.8%, with a median PFS of 7.2 months and a median DoR of 5.5 months; in HER2-positive breast cancer (n=23), after a median follow-up of 6.4 months, the ORR was 69.6% and the DCR was 95.7%, with median PFS not reached and a median DoR of 7.0 months.

In terms of safety, among 139 patients who received at least one dose, the incidence of TRAEs was 99.3%, grade ≥3 TRAEs 28.8% and serious TRAEs 5.8%; the most common TRAEs included nausea (61.2%), leukopenia (60.4%), neutropenia (55.4%), anaemia (51.1%) and asthenia (51.1%); dose interruption and dose reduction due to TRAEs occurred in 24.5% and 6.5% of patients respectively, only one patient (0.7%) discontinued treatment and no treatment-related deaths occurred, while the incidence of interstitial lung disease (ILD) was 1.4%. The study concluded that SYS6043 demonstrated manageable safety and durable antitumour activity in previously treated patients with advanced breast cancer, supporting further study at a dose of 6 mg/kg once every three weeks (Q3W); the product carries a topoisomerase I inhibitor payload with a drug-to-antibody ratio (DAR) of approximately 6, adopts an Fc gamma receptor effector-silencing design and a cleavable linker, and has a bystander antitumour effect.

NewTimeSpace News: CSPC PHARMA (01093.HK) announced that the results of the first-in-human Phase I/II clinical study of SYS6090 (JMT108), a bifunctional fusion protein targeting programmed death receptor 1 (PD-1) and interleukin-15 (IL-15) developed by the Group, in patients with advanced solid tumours were presented in a rapid oral presentation (abstract No. 1009RO) at the 2026 Congress of the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) on 25 October 2026, with Professor Lin Rongbo of Fujian Provincial Cancer Hospital presenting on behalf of the study team. The presentation highlighted preliminary efficacy and safety data in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and colorectal cancer (CRC), and reported partial responses observed in other tumour types including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

According to the announcement, the open-label, multicentre Phase I/II study had a data cut-off date of 13 April 2026. In terms of efficacy, 13 patients were enrolled in the HCC cohort, of whom 76.9% (10/13) had received at least second-line prior therapy, 92.3% (12/13) had received prior immunotherapy and 92.3% were at Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer (BCLC) stage C; 10 patients were included in the efficacy analysis set, with an objective response rate (ORR) of 40.0% (4/10; 95% confidence interval: 12.2–73.8), while patients with prior immunotherapy (n=9) had an ORR of 33.3%. The CRC cohort enrolled 38 patients, of whom 89.5% (34/38) had received at least second-line prior therapy and 73.7% (28/38) had liver metastases; 19 patients were evaluable, with an ORR of 21.1% (4/19), and patients with liver metastases (n=17) had an ORR of 23.5%. The NSCLC cohort enrolled 13 patients, with four achieving partial response and an ORR of over 30.0%; partial responses were also observed in small cell lung cancer, melanoma, renal cell carcinoma, breast cancer and gynaecological tumours.

Safety data were based on 51 patients in the HCC and CRC cohorts. The incidence of any-grade treatment-emergent adverse events (TEAEs) was 86.3% (44/51), grade ≥3 treatment-related adverse events (TRAEs) 17.6% (9/51), serious TRAEs 9.8% (5/51), permanent discontinuation due to TRAEs 2.0% (1/51) and immune-related adverse events 33.3% (17/51); common TEAEs included hypoalbuminaemia, anaemia and elevated liver enzymes, with one TEAE leading to death which was assessed as not treatment-related and no unexpected safety signals observed. The product is a recombinant fully human anti-PD-1 asymmetric bispecific Fc fusion protein incorporating IL-15, with a mutated IgG1 subtype to attenuate Fc-mediated immune functions. The study concluded that the ORR of 40.0% and 21.1% in evaluable HCC and CRC patients supports further evaluation of the product in CRC, HCC and other tumour types, and patient enrolment in the Phase II expansion cohorts is progressing well.

NewTimeSpace News: SKB BIO (06990.HK) released a voluntary announcement that a new indication application of its trophoblast cell-surface antigen 2 (TROP2)-directed antibody drug conjugate (ADC) sacituzumab tirumotecan (sac-TMT, also known as SKB264/MK-2870) has been accepted for review by the Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE) of the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) of China, in combination with MSD's anti-programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) monoclonal antibody pembrolizumab (KEYTRUDA®) as first-line treatment for adult patients with locally advanced or metastatic non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) whose tumours have a programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD-L1) tumour proportion score (TPS) <1% and are epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR)-negative and anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK)-negative. This marks the seventh indication application for sac-TMT accepted for review by the NMPA.

According to the announcement, the application is based on positive results from the Phase 3 registrational OptiTROP-Lung06 study, which evaluated sac-TMT in combination with pembrolizumab against pembrolizumab plus chemotherapy as first-line treatment for patients with PD-L1-negative locally advanced or metastatic non-squamous NSCLC, directly comparing two treatment strategies - "ADC plus immunotherapy" versus "immunotherapy plus chemotherapy". At a prespecified interim analysis, sac-TMT plus pembrolizumab demonstrated a statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvement in the primary endpoint of progression-free survival (PFS) as assessed by blinded independent central review (BICR) compared with pembrolizumab plus pemetrexed and platinum-based chemotherapy, and a positive trend was also observed in the secondary endpoint of overall survival (OS); the safety profile of the combination was consistent with previous studies, with no new safety signals observed. The study has been selected as a late-breaking abstract (LBA) at the 2026 European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress, with detailed results presented as an oral report.

Sac-TMT is a novel TROP2 ADC in which the Company holds proprietary intellectual property rights, developed with a unique bifunctional linker and a drug-to-antibody ratio (DAR) of 7.4 that also enables a bystander effect. In May 2022, the Company granted MSD the exclusive rights to develop, use, manufacture and commercialise sac-TMT in all territories outside Greater China. To date, four indications of sac-TMT have been approved for marketing in China, the first two of which have been included in the national medical insurance scheme, and the drug has received six breakthrough therapy designations from the NMPA, making it the world's first TROP2 ADC approved for a lung cancer indication.

Including the current application, three new indication applications for sac-TMT have been accepted by the NMPA, with the first two included in the priority review process. The Company is currently conducting nine registrational clinical studies in China, while MSD has initiated 18 ongoing global Phase 3 clinical studies. The Company cautioned that sac-TMT, which has not yet been approved for other indications, may not ultimately be successfully developed and commercialised, and shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the securities of the Company.

NewTimeSpace News: HENGRUI PHARMA (01276.HK) (A share code: 600276.SH) announced that it has recently received a notice from the National Medical Products Administration approving a new indication for the Company's Class 1 innovative drug, Remimazolam Tosilate for Injection, for sedation during mechanical ventilation in intensive care. The drug is in injection form with a strength of 36 mg (calculated based on C21H19BrN4O2), is classified as Chemical Drug Class 2.4, carries acceptance number CXHS2500146 and is a prescription drug.

According to the announcement, the drug has previously been approved in China for multiple indications, namely sedation and anaesthesia for non-intubated surgeries/procedures, and induction and maintenance of general anaesthesia. The Company said that sedation management in critically ill patients receiving mechanical ventilation is a key component of ICU care, and that standardised sedation can alleviate stress responses, improve patient-ventilator synchrony, preserve organ reserve, shorten the duration of mechanical ventilation and ICU stay and reduce the risk of delirium; traditional sedatives, however, carry risks of circulatory and respiratory depression, long-term infusion may lead to drug accumulation and delayed awakening, and elderly patients and those with hepatic or renal insufficiency have poor tolerability, leaving significant unmet clinical needs in current ICU sedation therapy.

On the evening of October 26, DUALITYBIO-B (09606.HK) and BioNTech released topline results from the global Phase III DYNASTY-Breast02 study: the lead candidate pacmilimab deruxtecan met the primary endpoint of progression-free survival, but overall survival data remain immature, and the trial observed a higher incidence of interstitial lung disease than in prior studies. The company also noted in its announcement that, given the current treatment landscape for HR-positive, HER2-low metastatic breast cancer, the potential clinical benefit of this regimen in that specific patient population may be relatively limited. The stock opened 14.98% lower on October 27, touched an all-time low of HKD 100.20 intraday and closed at HKD 106.30, down 27.93%, with turnover of HK$798 million and a turnover rate of 8.13%.

NewTimeSpace News: MINSHENG EDU (01569.HK) released a supplemental announcement providing further information regarding its announcement dated 9 September 2026 in relation to an arbitration administered by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Center (HKIAC), made in accordance with Rule 2.13 of the Listing Rules. The arbitration concerns a dispute between Minsheng Vocational Education Company Limited, a subsidiary of the Company, and Leed Education Holding Limited, National Education Holding Limited and Hyde Education Holding Limited over a put option for the sale of 49% shares in Leed International Education Group Inc. under a share purchase agreement entered into in 2018.

According to the announcement, the Claimants sought an exit price of RMB2,180,735,560.50 on the basis that they had validly exercised the put option, with the values adopted derived by reference to certain information in respect of the Group and Minsheng Vocational in 2020 and/or 2021 and the Company's market capitalisation. Minsheng Vocational's position is that the purported exercise was ineffective because, among other things, no option had been granted as required under the SPA, the exercise occurred outside the put option period prescribed, and the Claimants' calculation was based on an erroneous interpretation of the term "post-tax net profit excluding non-recurring gains and losses" in the exit price formula; on its own calculation, the exit price should be RMB981,500,000. Pursuant to the Final Award, the Arbitral Tribunal adopted an interpretation substantially aligned with the Claimants' position, found that they had validly exercised the put option by serving a written notice on 15 October 2021, and upheld the exit price of RMB2,180,735,560.50 as specified and calculated by the Claimants.

The announcement states that the Group has extended loans in an aggregate principal amount of RMB400 million to a designated company of the Claimants, secured by share charges on the Option Shares, which remain outstanding and registered as at the date of the announcement. Completion of the specific performance under the Final Award remains subject to the resolution of the Encumbrance Issue. Minsheng Vocational is seeking legal advice on the Final Award, and the Company commenced proceedings in the Court of First Instance in July 2026 seeking to set aside the Partial Award, which remain ongoing. The Board is of the view that the Final Award has not had any impact on the business operations and financial position of the Group, but the Company is not in a position to ascertain the ultimate outcome of the Dispute and the relevant proceedings nor their future impact.

The full-day market turnover was 178.3 billion HKD, higher than that of the previous trading day. Southbound funds saw a net selling of 1.238 billion HKD.

On the market, from an industry perspective. Themes such as coal, industrial trade & commerce, conglomerates, and telecommunications services led the gains. Themes such as pharmaceuticals & biologics, defense, and electrical equipment led the declines.

Of the Hang Seng Index constituents, 33 rose and 61 fell. On the downside, LONGFOR GROUP fell 7.06%, HSBC HOLDINGS dropped 5.56%, and XIAOMI-W fell 4.61%. On the upside, LI NING rose 5.92%, LENOVO GROUP rose 2.94%, and CHINA SHENHUA rose 2.36%.

Among the Hang Seng TECH Index constituents, 4 rose and 26 fell. On the downside, HORIZONROBOT-W fell 5.87%, LEAPMOTOR fell 4.84%, and SENSETIME-W fell 3.49%. On the upside, Z.AI rose 8.90%, SUNNY OPTICAL edged up 0.64%; HUA HONG GRACE edged up 0.47%.

Guoyuan International Holdings Limited said that global markets are still disturbed by AI investment returns, high interest rates and Middle East energy risks. The Fed is expected to pause rate hikes in October, but high oil prices and inflation pressure mean that the tightening cycle has not yet ended, and the high interest rate environment will still constrain the valuation of growth assets.

Guoyuan International Holdings Limited believes that last week's correction in Hong Kong stocks has spread from a retracement in some high-elasticity sectors to a broader contraction in risk appetite, with the decline in global risk appetite, cooling domestic policy expectations and marginally weakening southbound funds jointly constituting the pressure. In the short term, it takes "indexes fluctuating weak, with continued internal differentiation" as the base case. In the technology direction, it continues to focus on whether AI capital expenditure can truly translate into revenue, profit and free cash flow, giving priority to enterprises that are already profitable, with low leverage and strong self-financing capability; at the same time, defensive directions with relatively stable cash flow such as staple consumption, utilities and financials can be allocated. NewTimeSpace News: On 27 October 2026, Zhaoke Ophthalmology Limited (stock code: 6622) published a voluntary announcement that its manufacturing site in Nansha, Guangzhou has obtained Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certification from Australia's Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).

Australia is a full member of the Pharmaceutical Inspection Co-operation Scheme (PIC/S), and its GMP inspection outcomes are highly mutually recognised among PIC/S member authorities; the TGA certification marks further international regulatory recognition of the production and quality management systems at the Company's facility.

As several products continue to advance overseas registration and commercialisation, a production and quality management system that meets international regulatory requirements will support those products' entry into more overseas markets and the Company's global strategy, the announcement said. It also carries the warning statement under Rule 18A.05 of the Listing Rules that the Company cannot guarantee it will ultimately succeed in developing or commercialising the relevant products.

NewTimeSpace News: On 27 October 2026, InSilico Medicine (stock code: 3696) announced that preliminary first-in-human Phase I data for ISM6331, an investigational oral pan-TEAD inhibitor designed with its generative AI platform Chemistry42, were presented as a rapid oral presentation at the 2026 ESMO Congress.

As at the data cut-off of 14 August 2026, the Phase I study (NCT06566079) had enrolled 36 subjects across 15 to 130 mg, with a median of two prior lines of therapy (range 1 to 12), and is in the dose-escalation phase. Among evaluable mesothelioma subjects, the 130 mg once-daily cohort achieved an objective response rate (ORR) of 40%; across 30 to 130 mg, the disease control rate (DCR) at the first tumour assessment was 68.2%, and the ORR in mesothelioma was 18.2% (four of 22), with responses observed in the 30 mg, 50 mg and 130 mg cohorts.

Three of the four responders achieved a response at the first assessment at week 8; as at the cut-off, three partial responses were ongoing, one of which had lasted nearly a year. Beyond mesothelioma, preliminary antitumour signals included target lesion shrinkage in heavily pretreated non-small cell lung cancer (seven prior lines) and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (eight prior lines), and disease stabilisation lasting more than four months in epithelioid haemangioendothelioma and colorectal cancer.

No dose-limiting toxicities were reported across 15 to 130 mg and no treatment-related adverse events led to permanent discontinuation. Most adverse events were grade 1 or 2, with grade 3 events in only 8.3% of subjects, including asymptomatic amylase and lipase elevations, fatigue and drug dermatitis; treatment-related proteinuria occurred in 11.1% and was grade 1 or 2 and reversible. Circulating CCN2 levels were consistently downregulated, and a terminal half-life of about 18 to 32 hours supports once-daily dosing. ISM6331 received FDA orphan drug designation in 2024 and fast track designation in July 2026.

NewTimeSpace News: On 26 October 2026, New Gonow Recreational Vehicles Inc. (stock code: 805) published an announcement at the request of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong concerning the concentration of its shareholding in a small number of shareholders as at 13 October 2026, setting out the announcement issued by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) on 26 October 2026.

According to the announcement, the SFC recently conducted an inquiry into the Company's shareholding distribution, which showed that as at 13 October 2026, 22 shareholders and their related persons held a total of 400,219,592 shares, representing 41.69% of the issued shares. Together with the 467,470,122 shares (48.69%) held by Mr Miao Xuezhong, the chairman and chief executive officer, these holdings represented 90.38% of the issued shares; only 92,310,286 shares (9.62%) were held by other shareholders. Total issued shares are 960,000,000.

Citing the SFC announcement, the Company noted that its share price rose 878.6% from HK$1.40 on 30 April 2026 to HK$13.70 on 13 October 2026, and closed at HK$14.00 on 23 October 2026, 900% above the 30 April closing price.

The Company said the information is extracted from the SFC announcement and, apart from the number of shares held by Mr Miao through Snowy.M Holdings Limited (based on the latest disclosure of interests under Part XV of the Securities and Futures Ordinance) and the share price data, it has not independently verified the information. It will conduct further investigation into the shareholding matters and announce updates as soon as practicable after completing the investigation.

The Company confirmed that, as at 13 October 2026 and the date of the announcement, at least 25% of its issued shares were held by the public, in compliance with the public float requirement. It cautioned that, given the high concentration of shareholding, the share price may fluctuate significantly even on small trading volumes and its securities may not have a genuine market.

NewTimeSpace News: On 27 October 2026, Sino Biopharmaceutical Limited (stock code: 1177) announced that TQ-A3334 (a Toll-like receptor 7 agonist) and TQA3605 (a core protein allosteric modulator), two Class 1 innovative drugs independently developed by its subsidiary Chia Tai Tianqing, have both been granted breakthrough therapy designation by the Centre for Drug Evaluation of China's National Medical Products Administration, addressing unmet needs in functional cure and low-level viraemia (LLV) in chronic hepatitis B.

TQ-A3334 is an oral highly selective TLR7 agonist that activates innate and adaptive immune pathways, induces interferon and cytokine responses and remodels the body's anti-HBV immune response, complementing the direct antiviral action of nucleos(t)ide analogues (NAs). The designation was based mainly on Phase II data showing potential for substantive improvement in key efficacy endpoints; the results were selected as a late-breaking abstract at the 2026 AASLD meeting and will be presented orally.

TQA3605 is an oral core protein allosteric modulator that inhibits replication of multiple HBV genotypes without cross-resistance to NAs. Its Phase II study showed that 24 weeks of combination treatment with NAs significantly increased the proportion of subjects with HBV DNA below 20 IU/mL, with response rates approaching 90% in all treatment arms versus the NA monotherapy control (p<0.0001). TQA3605 has entered Phase III, while TQ-A3334 will soon enter Phase III.

The announcement cited about 290 million chronic HBV infections globally, including about 75 million in China; without timely standard treatment, chronic hepatitis B can progress to cirrhosis, liver failure and hepatocellular carcinoma.

NewTimeSpace News: On 27 October 2026, China Gold International Resources Corp. Ltd. (HKEX: 2099; TSX: CGG) published an overseas regulatory announcement that mining operations have resumed at its Chang Shan Hao (CSH) gold mine and that annual production guidance for the mine is reiterated.

On 22 May 2026, a localised slope failure occurred at the CSH mine, causing no injuries or equipment damage. To ensure safety, open-pit mining was suspended while the processing plant continued operating using existing low-grade stockpiled ore. The Company subsequently engaged external geotechnical experts and specialist institutions to carry out geotechnical assessments and design remediation plans.

By the end of September 2026, the mine had completed the key phase of remediation works required to resume mining, including restoring the pit haul road system, clearing loose material and unstable rock, reinforcing the landslide body and installing drainage systems, with slope monitoring continuing throughout. A third-party assessment confirmed that the slope hazards affecting mining had been rectified and that the site met the safety standards for normal operations; after filing with the emergency management authorities, mining resumed in early October 2026 as planned.

During the suspension, the mine continued processing low-grade stockpiled ore, helping mitigate the impact on gold output. With open-pit mining fully restored, the mine will optimise the blending of newly mined and stockpiled ore to maintain stable ore supply and processing grades. Based on completion of the key remediation works and the resumption of mining, the Company is confident of maintaining a stable production trajectory, and 2026 production guidance is unaffected.

As a limited partner, the Company has committed RMB50 million of its own funds to Sichuan Dingliang Weilai Venture Capital Partnership (Limited Partnership), a fund initiated by Chengdu Dingxing Quantum Investment Management Co., Ltd., which has committed capital of RMB300 million, giving the Company a 16.67% interest.

NewTimeSpace News: On 26 October 2026, Beijing Energy International Holding Co., Ltd. (stock code: 686) announced a proposed issue of asset-backed notes (ABN) and the disposal of equity interests in, and debts owed by, its subsidiaries, constituting a very substantial disposal.

The ABN are expected to be registered with the National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors in November 2026 or later and issued in the China interbank bond market, with an aggregate principal of about RMB2.9 billion, to invest in and securitise the underlying assets held by Jingneng Development. The senior tranche totals RMB2.83 billion (97.5%, expected AAA rating) and the subordinated tranche RMB70 million (2.5%, unrated, no fixed maturity, return of not more than 7% per annum); the notes have an 18-year tenor to 31 December 2044.

Jingneng Development, as seller, will transfer 100% equity interests in six target companies—Shengyang, Tongchuan, Kaineng, Zhuolang, Xundian and the SPV—to the ABN trust, for which China Railway Trust acts as trustee and administrator, for cash considerations of RMB627.73 million, RMB91.36 million, RMB113.15 million, RMB269.94 million, RMB171.17 million and RMB66.33 million respectively, totalling about RMB1,339.69 million. Debt transfer agreements will also transfer shareholder loans owed by the project companies to Jingneng Development.

Upon completion, the target and project companies will cease to be subsidiaries and will be deconsolidated. The Company expects to recognise unaudited gains of about RMB430.61 million, being the difference between the consideration and the unaudited carrying value of the underlying assets of about RMB909.07 million at the valuation date. Proceeds will be used 100% to repay existing debt, mainly bank borrowings maturing within 18 months (principal of about RMB3.44 billion and interest of about RMB69 million at rates of 1.98% to 2.80%). As the highest applicable percentage ratio exceeds 75%, the disposal is a very substantial disposal subject to reporting, announcement, circular and shareholder approval requirements; the circular is expected to be despatched on or before 30 November 2026 and an extraordinary general meeting will be convened.

NewTimeSpace News: CSPC PHARMA (01093.HK) released a voluntary announcement that interim analysis results from the Phase III HEALER study of Anbenitamab Injection in combination with Docetaxel for Injection (Albumin-bound) (HB1801) for the first-line treatment of HER2-positive advanced breast cancer, co-developed by the Group and Jiangsu Alphamab Oncology Co., Ltd., were selected as a Late-breaking Abstract and presented as a Proffered Paper Presentation at the ESMO Congress 2026 on 24 October 2026. The study was published simultaneously as an original article in The New England Journal of Medicine, making it the first clinical achievement in breast cancer from the Chinese Mainland published in the journal.

According to the announcement, the HEALER study was sponsored by the Group and led by Academician Xu Binghe across 76 centres in China. A total of 885 patients with HER2-positive advanced breast cancer who had not received prior chemotherapy or anti-HER2 targeted therapy in the advanced setting were randomised 1:1 to the experimental group or the standard THP regimen control group. The primary endpoint was PFS assessed by a Blinded Independent Review Committee (BIRC) based on RECIST 1.1. BIRC assessment showed 24-month PFS rates of 58.5% versus 34.4%, representing a 54% reduction in the risk of disease progression or death (HR=0.46, 95% CI 0.37-0.56), while the objective response rate was 87.6% against 73.4% in the control group.

On safety, grade 3 or above adverse events occurred in 45.9% of the experimental group versus 34.4% in the control group, mainly haematological toxicities such as neutropenia and leukopenia. Treatment discontinuation due to treatment-emergent adverse events was 5.2% versus 3.4%, and grade 3 or above diarrhoea accounted for only 2.3%, with no subject discontinuing treatment due to diarrhoea. The Company said the regimen significantly improved first-line PFS versus the standard THP regimen with a manageable safety profile, and is expected to become a new first-line treatment option for HER2-positive advanced breast cancer.
